March 29th Wedding, Hodsock Priory,
Nottinghamshire - Richard and Sharon.
Richard and Sharon married at Hodsock
Priory near Blyth yesterday. A civil ceremony in the
drawing room was followed by a drinks reception and
canapés in the library and bar. The weather sadly put
paid to any plans of using the excellent grounds around
the Priory and so photos were shot indoors around the
various rooms and staircase.
As a professional Chef, Richard was
involved in the food planning, including their excellent
choice of wedding cake, a hug selection of choclates,
pastries and dipped fruit - see pics below.
The couple and the guests rounded off
their evening dancing the night away to a band in the
newly completed pavillions. |

March 26th Portraits - Thomas, Matthew
and Sheree A
portrait session in Pontefract on Wednesday with Thomas
and his parents, at just three months Thomas was very
responsive with plenty of smiles along the way. The
session lasted just under one hour and allowed a number
of combinations of poses and dress. Thomas was a star
throughout. |

March 25th Wedding, Coniston Hall
Hotel, Skipton - Kirsty and Richard
A trip north on Tuesday for a mid week
wedding for Kirsty and Richard at the Coniston Hall
Hotel, Coniston Cold near Skipton. The hotel is set on
the edge of the Dales and offers stunning views across a
large lake to the hills beyond. Following their civil
ceremony and drinks reception we braved the wilds and
headed out for photos utilising the stunning backdrops.
Kirsty Added: They
look ace! Thank you so much for your humour and help
on the day (even with the duck poo!) - everyone
thought you were great!
At
the moment we are in the lakes and its peeing down, we
are stuck in our room with the laptop - so rock and
roll!

Park Hotel and Spa - Sarah and Richard
Sarah and Richard were married last week
in Cuba and celebrated their wedding with family and
friends on Sunday evening with a reception at Thorpe
Park Hotel and Spa near Leeds. Following a few formal
family photographs we made our way around the hotel to
take photos of Richard and Sarah before their guests
arrived.
Images from their
package photographer in Cuba will be combined with
photos from Thorpe Park to produce a Story Book of their
wedding. |

March 21st
Pre-wedding Shoot Mount Pleasant Hotel Doncaster
- John and Elizabeth
John and Elizabeth
will be married later in the year and holding their
wedding reception at the Mount Pleasant Hotel near
Doncaster. It was here that we met up on a cold and
snowy Sunday morning for a pre-wedding shoot and an
opportunity to plan their wedding photos.
The grounds at the
rear of Mount Pleasant was covered in a crust of snow
and lended itself wonderfully to the pre-wedding shoot. |

March 22nd Wedding, Oulton Hall
Rothwell near Leeds - James and Lucy
Four seasons in one day kind of sums up
the weather for James and Lucy's wedding on Saturday.
Leaving from home near Goole for their wedding in Snaith,
it was snowing sideways as I arrived at Lucy's house for
the prep photos! A 10 AM ceremony at Snaith Methodist
Church was followed by an afternoon drinks reception at
Oulton Hall near Leeds, where shortly after arriving the
sun began to shine.
James and Lucy had
planned things a little differently with a drinks
reception and buffet in the afternoon followed by a
later drinks reception and the traditional wedding
breakfast in the evening. The plan worked brilliantly
and allowed all their guests a really relaxed day. Even
the best man whose speech wasn't until nearly nine
thirty in the evening!
Lucy added - many thanks for your amazing efforts on
Saturday, we are thrilled with the results and your hard
work really did pay off!
We are already having discussions about which photos to
choose for album, so many fantastic ones to choose from!
Mr
and Mrs Paragreen added - Excellent Photos - well done |

March 21st Pre-wedding shoot Aldwark
Manor - Louise and Richard |
|
Almost two years after
originally booking me, I met up with Louise and Richard
again at Aldwark Manor for a pre-wedding photo shoot. A
sharp shower meant the first half of the shoot was held
indoors before we managed to break out for some outdoor
shots. |

March 15th Portraits - Newmillerdam
Wakefield A Saturday without
a wedding is quite a rarity and so full use was made of
the time with a number of pre-wedding meetings, a
pre-wedding shoot and
portrait session.
The outcome of the
morning portrait session at Newmillerdam is to be a gift
for Gran. Although long coats were the order of the day
the threatening rain held off long enough for Mandy,
Amy, Katie and Emma to have a number of group and
individual images. Vouchers and further details of
portrait sessions can be found on the
portraits page.

March 8th Wedding, Whitley Hall,
Sheffield - Kieran and Lynne
Kieran and Lynne were married on Saturday
in a civil ceremony at Whitley Hall on the outskirts of
Sheffield. The weather thankfully held just long enough
after their ceremony to rattle off the photos of both
the couple and the guests before we quickly retreated
back indoors. The cosy and intimate nature of Whitley
Hall allowing plenty of photo opportunities inside and
out.
Following the wedding
breakfast a quick turn around of the room allowed us
some time to head upstairs for some more relaxed
'speeches over' with photos before Kieran and Lynne were
back in the thick of it to cut their cake and their
first dance.

March 2nd Pre-wedding shoot, Castleford
- Sarah and Richard
Sarah and Richard are actually marrying
in Cuba in the next week, but will be holding a
reception for family and friends at Thorpe Park Hotel
and Spa at the end of the month. The pre-wedding shoot
has enabled the couple to have a
signing board at the
evening reception where those not lucky enough to attend
the wedding in Cuba can still leave their good will
messages.
Sarah and Richard will
be combining their wedding images from Cuba (sadly taken
by a photographer from the tour operator) with images
from the pre-wedding shoot and those I'll be taking on
the night at Thorpe Park to produce a
Graphistudio Story book.

March 1st Wedding, Hazelwood Castle York
- Simon and
Sarah Following both bride and groom preparations at
Hazelwood Castle, Simon and Sarah were married Saturday
at St Mary's church in Tadcaster. Although a little
breezy the weather was thankfully a massive improvement
on the previous days storms and heavy rain.
Following the ceremony
Simon, Sarah and their
guests returned to Hazelwood where singer
Shane Hamill was on hand to provide entertainment in
the Flemish Hall during the drinks reception and later
during the wedding breakfast in the Great Hall.
During the drinks
reception Simon and Sarah took a stroll around Hazelwood
Castle's grounds allowing some quiet time together (well
if you include a photographer and videographer that
is!).
Simons and Sarah were
lucky to have a great team of Bridesmaids and Ushers to
support them on their day and although the ushers did
their best to embarrass and wind them up (Swapping the
wedding suit in Simons bag for a rat costume and
unveiling a life size cut out of Sarah dressed as Little
Britain character Vicky pollard on the Hen do were just
some of their antics).
The couple have now
escaped the melé with a relaxing honeymoon, enjoy!
Sarah Added: -
e are both over the
moon with them. We had a fantastic day and i think the
photos reflect this. You were very professional and we
can't thank you enough
Carol
(Sarah's mum) Added: - I just wanted to thank you for
the brilliant job you did yesterday for Sarah and
Simon's wedding. It was an absolute pleasure to have
such a professional taking the photographs. You made it
a special time for all of us.
Michael Added:
You did a great job! Hardly knew you were there.
Rachel
Added: Amazing work, really well captured, just love
the photos.
