October 27th Jamie and Ellen -
Wedding Walton Hall at Waterton Park
Crossing your fingers does work! In the
week leading up to the wedding, the forecast for
Saturday was anything but pleasant. However as Saturday
dawned the forecast had changed and although it wasn't
boundless blue skies, the weather stayed dry and Jamie,
Ellen and their guests were able to make full use of the
island at Waterton Park.
Amended to add the following message from Jamie and Ellen:
We just wanted to say a massive Thank You, we have just viewed
our wedding pictures online for the first time and we were
totally blown away, they captured the whole day perfectly and
brought back all the great memories. You managed to capture
our day exactly how we wanted it. I never realised how
important getting the right photographer is and I can honestly
say we picked the right one.
The thing I hate the most is having my picture taken, but you
put me at ease, made us laugh and took away all the things I
dislike about it, you made it fun and I actually found myself
enjoying it.
Saying thank you just doesn't seem to be enough to express how
grateful we are to you. We will look back on our pictures and
we will be able to relive the emotion we experienced on the
day as you managed to capture it in every picture.
Your service is outstanding

October 26th Nick and Laura -
Wedding Oakwood Hall Bingley |
|
Nick and Laura were married in a ceremony
at the church of St John the Evangalist at Cullingworth
near Bingley before moving onto Oakwood Hall for their
wedding reception. Enroute we called in at a local wood
for photos of just Nick and Laura. Away from the guests
the photo time allowed the couple some quiet time
together. The rich warm colours on the trees and even
the ground made the photos extra special. |

October 22nd Lucio and Jayne -
Wedding, Wood Hall North Yorkshire |
|
Married on Monday in a civil ceremony at
Wood Hall near Wetherby were Lucio and Jayne. A black
and white themed wedding worked brilliantly in the
Vavasour Suite both during the ceremony and later for
the wedding breakfast. Following the ceremony Jayne and
Lucio took a stroll around the grounds before making
their way back for some photos on the steps, using the
impressive Wood Hall exterior as a backdrop to their
formal photos. |

With an Italian groom and a large number

Italian Gardens within the grounds of Wood Hall for a
number of photos. |

October 21st Anna and Craig -
Wedding, Rogerthorpe Manor Pontefract |
|
Anna and Craig married in a civil
ceremony on Sunday at Rogerthorpe Manor near Badsworth.
A well planned red colour theme co-ordinated perfectly
with the autumn colours around the grounds at
Rogerthorpe. Following the ceremony a surprise chimney
sweep provided a spot of entertainment on the
lawn. |

Stealing photos! Normally it's the guests
who hang onto the shoulders of the photographer.
However, as this photo shows, sometimes it can be the
other way round. |

October 20th Jenny and Mark -
Wedding, Ripley Castle North Yorkshire
Mark and Jenny were married Saturday at
Ripley Church before making the short journey to the
adjacent Ripley Castle. Set in stunning grounds with a
vast lake and woodland, Ripley Castle is an ideal
wedding venue and thanks to some glorious Autumnal
weather we were able to make the most of the stunning
scenery and backdrops. The wedding had a 1940s RAF theme
with Jenny's dress and shoes looking very period, whilst
Mark a serving RAF officer wore his 'Number Ones' which
have a distinctive 1940s feel. The Rolls Royce wedding
car was two tone complete with Royal Air Force blue and
the tables were all named after second World War
fighters and bombers.
Amended Saturday 27th on returning
from Honeymoon Mark and Jenny added the following
We couldn't wait any
longer without saying a huge thank you for our wedding
pictures. They are so beautiful and you have really
captured the day. You did such a great job and were so
brilliant that we would recommend you to anyone. Thanks
once again for a fantastic job last

for ensuring her wedding shoes stayed clean. |

October 14th
Dean and Debby – Wedding, Walton Hall at Waterton
Park Wakefield.
If anyone was ever
in doubt, Autumn has arrived, the spectacular colours in
the trees at Walton Hall today were testimony to the
season change and with such warm golden colours as
backdrops, a photographers dream . (Sadly though of
course this also serves as a reminder that winter is
just around the corner). Making the most of the
backdrops today were Dean and Debby who following their
civil ceremony at the hotel headed to the island for
photographs and drinks. A small and intimate wedding
with just seventeen guests allowed the couple the chance
to spend plenty of quality time with their family and
friends. |

October 13th
Dan and Yvonne – Wedding, Armthorpe to Hellaby Hall
Dan and Yvonne were
married on Saturday at St Marys and St Leonards in
Armthorpe before making the journey along the M18 to
Hellaby Hall near Rotherham. Following their pre-wedding
shoot at home with daughter Grace only a few weeks ago
they were quickly into the swing of things and the
photos were quickly and smoothly despatched. The weather
played ball all day and the mild weather meant we were
able to get outdoors for all the photos, something which
in the morning hadn’t looked possible.
Late evening we
headed back outside to catch the bride and groom around
the front of Hellaby Hall’s unique facade for some final
photos under the floodlights. |

9th October Air to
Air photo shoot - 30,000ft over the North Sea
As part of a magazine
article I'm supplying images for, yesterday saw me out
over the North Sea courtesy of the Royal Air Force. At
30,000ft we were well above the horrendous weather
below the clouds allowing us to position the jets to make the most
of the blue skies and excellent light. |

6th October Jason
and Rebecca - Wedding, The
Courtyard Tong Village
Jason and Rebecca were
married in a civil ceremony at the Courtyard in Tong
Village (Formerly known as the Marriot Tong). Following
preparation photos in the bridal suite and the ceremony
upstairs in the Pastures Suite, guests made their way
outside, mild autumnal weather allowed plenty of time
for relaxed conversation and photos.
The evening
reception including entertainment from 'The Solicitors'
a local band that quickly managed to fill the dance
floor and even provided instruments for the guests to
partake.
Amended Tuesday
October 9th. Before jetting
off on Honeymoon Rebecca added the following comments.
We are
just getting ready to go on our honeymoon but can't stop
looking at the amazing photos that you have taken at our
wedding on Saturday.
You
were a true professional, keeping the guests upbeat
which clearly shows, and keeping us relaxed and natural.
We really can not thank you enough for the wonderful
pictures that will be treasured always! Only one
problem....How ever will we decide from them as we love
them all!
I can
not tell you how many people stopped me and said 'your
photographer was fantastic!'. You just caught the mood
and atmosphere perfectly. The guests who had a preview
of our photos all commented on how we would have very
special pictures.
We
really again can not thank you enough, I wanted to send
you a letter when we returned from our honeymoon but felt
after seeing them on line I could not wait to tell you
how happy you have made us. |
