| 31st August 2007 Dale
and Sophie - Wedding Barwick in Elmet to Holdsworth
House Married in the village
church at Barwick in Elmet, Dale and Sophie chose
Holdsworth House in Halifax for their wedding reception.
A quick trip along the M62 to Holdsworth House left
behind blue skies and our arrival was greeted with a
rain shower! Dodging showers for the photographs outside
even resulted in some sunshine before the guests moved
inside for the wedding breakfast.
A live band in the evening were joined
by a surprise for the groom in the shape of a Michael
Jackson tribute act. |

August 2007 Paul and Laura - Wedding Carlton Church
to Waterton Park The busiest
week of the year continues with Paul and Laura's wedding
at Carlton church in Pontefract before moving onto
Walton Hall at Waterton Park.
Although a really nice little church
sadly photo opportunities outside are lacking and so
following some informal and candid images as the newly
weds greeted their family and friends we quickly made
our way over to a sunny Waterton Park to make full use
of the island. |

August 2007 Darren and Sarah - Wedding, Horbury
church to Rogerthorpe Manor
Darren and Sarah were married yesterday at The church of
Jesus Christ and latter day saints in Horbury before
moving onto Rogerthorpe manor for their wedding
reception.
They say its tradition for the bride
to arrive late and as no surprise to those who know her,
Sarah did just that, albeit forty minutes late (Talk
about making the groom sweat! - atleast he'll never need
an excuse for being late home from the pub).
With our arrival at Rogerthrope Manor
running slightly behind schedule we split the photo
session to shoot the formal groups before the meal so the guests could still sit down at the agreed
time I met up again with Darren and Sarah following the
meal to take photographs of just the two of them. |

Emma -
Pre-wedding photo shoot - Walton Hall
Wakefield.
With their wedding fast
approaching I met up with Neil and Emma at
Walton Hall at Waterton Park Thursday
evening for a pre-wedding photo shoot (Details
here). The pre-wedding shoot is a
great way of building confidence and a
rapport which on the big day helps ensure
your photos are more relaxed and natural. |

August 23rd Portraits,
The Browns - Bretton Park Wakefield.
Fantastic weather this
afternoon helped ensure we made the most
of Bretton Country Park for today's
portrait session. With a three year old
and six month old baby to entertain, the
park provided plenty of distractions and
of course great locations. |

August 18th 2007 Elliott
and Sarah - Wedding, Hazelwood castle
near York
Elliott and Sarah were
married yesterday in a civil ceremony at
Hazelwood Castle near York. Following
their ceremony the couple enjoyed a
blessing in the Chapel of St Leonard's
adjacent to the castle.
Elliott, his groomsmen
and brothers had arrived at Hazelwood
Castle earlier in the day in a replica A
Team van whilst Sarah opted for a more
traditional arrival in a classic open top
Beauford.
Following their blessing
the couple and family and friends gathered
on the steps at the front of the castle
for photos where Sarah (a mounted police
officer) was surprised to see two of her
colleagues on horseback to provide a
guard of honour for the group photos. All
went well until Sarah posed with the
horses, at this point one of the pair took
a liking to the bridal bouquet. (It's
amazing how fast a horse can eat Roses!)
Following photos around
the excellent grounds of Hazelwood Castle,
The couple returned to their guests for
relaxed drinks and canopies before their
wedding breakfast. |
