A fast paced and fun session on Wednesday evening provided some fantastic images from the mobile studio and will make great Christmas presents.

Following yesterdays hectic portraits today took a slightly more genteel approach with a pre-wedding shoot early morning at Newmillerdam for Jason and Rebecca who are to marry next May.

A mammoth day of portraits on Saturday with no less than 24 portrait sessions as part of a charity photo shoot to raise money for a local children's charity. Monday and my arms and legs are still aching!

A busy week after receiving a number of album choices has seen me tied to a PC all week putting together designs for preview. A number of Grande Album example pages below...

Portraits at Bretton in November

Claire and Simon were married Saturday 17th at St. Benedict's church in Garforth. The light inside and outside the church was fantastic, following the ceremony Simon, Claire and their guests headed off to Wentbridge House for the wedding reception where we made full use of the lawns for some formal and informal images.

With their wedding now only a few weeks away I met up with Amy and Karl Sunday afternoon at Newmillerdam near Wakefield for a pre-wedding photo shoot and to run through their photo plans for their big day in December.

An early Sunday morning portrait session in Smeaton Village near Wentbridge. Having photographed their wedding early last year it was good to catch up with Jo, Mark and children again on Sunday for an outdoor portrait session. Jo had asked for friends and their children to come along and so in scenes reminiscent of the Pied Piper we made our way into the woods with no fewer than eleven children in tow.

Married in a civil ceremony at The Hotel St Pierre on Saturday were Danny and Julie. With a ceremony late in the afternoon, we had to act quickly to make the most of the light and fabulous colours and so headed down the road to the picturesque Newmillerdam for photos of the happy couple.

Waine and Hayley were married at All Saints Church in Pontefract on Saturday the 3rd November. The wedding had a black and white theme complete with Black and White cars for the bride and groom and bridal party. A pair of Excalibur limousines, a white stretched and a black open top. Following the ceremony the Bride and Groom and guests made their way to Oulton Hall near Leeds for the wedding reception held in the Oulton Suite.

Late evening and with the first dance out of the way all the guests gathered outside on the lawn for a large group shot complete with Sparklers. (A well choreographed lighting routine enables almost all of the 250 guests to have lit sparklers for the main image).

November already, normally I tend to ramble about the weather and again today will be no exception! The summer was non-existent and now only eight or so weeks to Christmas, the sun is shining and temperatures are in the mid teens. Even the grass is still firm. Perfect weather for a winter wedding. Any how, onto the wedding itself.

With their pre-wedding shoot now what feels like an age ago, it was good to catch up with Sam and Anna again today for their wedding at Saville Road Hall in Skelmanthorpe. Following a delightful ceremony the couple and guests travelled to Walton Hall for the wedding reception and wedding breakfast. As mentioned already the sun shone and guests were able to mingle on the lawns before, during and after the 'formal' photographs.

Even with 130 guests, the groups were quickly despatched before the light levels dropped and all too soon guests were heading over for the wedding breakfast. Sam and Anna are jetting off early tomorrow on honeymoon and so the evening reception took the form of a more relaxed and quiet (in the audible sense) gathering of family and friends. Enjoy the honeymoon guys.
