Bernie and Chris married on Friday at St Helen's church in Sandal. Bernie was preparing at Bagden Hall (the location for their wedding reception later in the day) and so the morning started nice and early with hair and make up images before moving to St Helens in Sandal.

Transporting a number of guests on the journey was a red Routemaster bus (lets be honest, this is a great idea as even though it's quite a straight route from Sandal to Scissett, a few guests would have still got lost!)

Marrying on the 31st October the couple could hardly let Halloween slip by unmentioned and so each table had a large bowl of sweets and the children were supplied with pumpkin baskets to trick or treat the guests, although by the time the evening reception came, the adults seemed to have polished off most of the goodies!

Winter is certainly on it's way! The pre-wedding shoot at Monk Fryston Hall on Tuesday was certainly the coldest of the year so far! Gemma and Will were great despite the arctic blast and we walked through the grounds discussing photo locations and taking a few images in the process.

Luke and Emma will be marrying in November at Waterton Park near Wakefield. We met up first thing Monday at Waterton for a pre-wedding shoot and to run through their wedding day photo plans.

Michael and Lisa married on Saturday in Leeds at the Our Lady of Lourdes church in Headingley before celebrating at the Holiday Inn at Tong Village near Bradford

Phil and Kym chose the photogenic Anglo Saxon church at Wentbridge for their wedding ceremony. A personal and touching service was ensured as Kym's uncle performed the ceremony. (As this was his first wedding it makes you wonder who was the most nervous up at the front of the church!).

Following their ceremony we headed over to Rogerthorpe Manor at Badsworth for the wedding reception and photographs.

Kym had surprised Phil with an Aston Martin on the day and as you can imagine he was quite keen to pose with the car, although he did allow his best men and groomsmen to join the fun!

Following the wedding breakfast we headed back outside for some quick (it was a little chilly!) low light images.

On Monday I met up with Damien and Kerry in Wakefield for a pre-wedding shoot. The couple are marrying next year at Walton Hall, Waterton Park. Also in for the shoot was Ash their dog.

Phil and Natalie married on Saturday in a civil ceremony at the Hey Green hotel at Marsden near Huddersfield. Phil is a fireman and members of his watch were in attendance providing a surprise guard of honour for the couple as they left the ceremony.

The couple were guests at Gary and Jo's wedding at Bagden Hall last August. Gary and Jo were part of Phil and Natalie's bridal party and it was great to catch up again, especially as their family has now grown following the very recent birth of their son.

A break from weddings this week with some magazine work.... Each year the Swiss Air Force hold a public demonstration on the Axalp firing range high in the Alps. Although the day starts very early with a two hour climb up to the range, the photo opportunities are unique as the aircraft enter the valley to fire live rounds at targets above, below and in front of you!
