August 2009 Limited Availability for 2010 wedding dates

Each year I limit myself to 70 weddings and am fast approaching that number of wedding bookings for 2010. By placing a limit on the number of weddings I shoot each year I can ensure that the level of service to each bride and groom is consistently high. Unlike a lot of other photographers I only photograph one wedding per day and anyone booking me for their wedding is safe in the knowledge that I am the main photographer and the one who will attend on the day, unlike lots of others,  I don't farm jobs out to other photographers working on my behalf. I am now only ten bookings away from reaching my limit and closing the diary.

The summer books the fastest and as a result I am no longer taking new bookings for weddings between May and September 2010. Wedding dates between January and April and October and December are still available, but with very limited availability.

We feel very lucky to have found him." Thanks Jessie!

May 2007 - BBC1 TV Series 'The Big day' - Photographed by Chris Chambers

'The Big Day' , a new five-part, prime time television series presented by Nick Knowles will be shown on BBC1 from June 26th.

Nick Knowles said: "It's supposed to be the happiest day of your life but very often the stresses and strains of organisation and family feuds can make it one of the most trying. We remove the bride and groom from this stress and ramp up all the pressure on the two families by forcing them to make all the decisions with all the consequences you would expect."

The relatives will be given a helping hand by a team of experts led by Nick Knowles , top stylist Hannah Sandling and wedding expert James Love . The experts will be there to ensure that the big day runs smoothly, on time and on budget, and be better than the happy couple could have imagined in their wildest dreams.

At the start of the week Nick meets the bride and groom to learn about their hobbies, favourite food and colours, personal preferences and outlook. This crucial meeting will be the happy couple's only input into the elements chosen by our team.

In the build up to the show filmed late last year, I was short-listed along with nine other top photographers from the Yorkshire region, following a series of interviews and meetings I was chosen as a photographer for the series and commissioned to photograph Paul and Emily's wedding taking place at Christchurch Doncaster and then Hodsock Priory near Blyth, South Yorkshire.
