Diving Underwater Kingfisher followed by editing webinar
Located on the outskirts of Leeds the workshop is limited to three people per day. We’ll meet near Hazlewood Castle just before 7AM and finish around 4PM. (You are welcome to finish earlier).
We’ll start with some perched and diving images and as the light improves mid-morning we’ll switch to shooting underwater images. Whilst shooting underwater photographs, a second camera can also be used to continue creating perched images of the birds between dives.
Full tuition is provided and a pre-workshop zoom video will be shared with all attendees followed by an editing webinar where we’ll I’ll demonstrate my underwater image editing techniques. Images created are yours to do with as you wish.
There are 3 places per day available. When a day is sold out paypal won’t let you complete checkout.
Camera and lens ideally upto 400mm is ideal (70-200 and a 2x converter work well). Tripod and a remote release (wireless) for the diving and underwater images. Waterproof cover just incase. A second camera will allow you to shoot bother perched and diving images. The diving images will require a lens unto 200mm, perched unto 400mm.
As with most types of wildlife photography the action is not guaranteed or frequency however we are working at a well-proven location that sees regular activity. In the event of a complete no show of the birds on the day of the workshop you’ll be given the opportunity to return free of charge on another date.
Cost per person: £200
A deposit of £50 books your place and the remaining balance two weeks before your booked date. Please be aware that due to the nature of the workshop, unless your place can be resold, in the event of you canceling or not attending the monies cannot be transferred or refunded.
