Gold Awards from The Societies of Photographers | Award winning photographer <\/strong><\/p>\n Following on form my success with the Guild of Photographers this month, I also received three Gold Awards from the Societies of Photographers, formerly the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.<\/p>\n Of over 1100 images entered, just over thirty scored Gold and three of these were mine including my first ever Gold in the wedding category. This notoriously hard category sees only a handful of Gold Scoring images each year and I’m proud to say one of those was taken by me!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A waterlogged lone tree in Snowdonia. taken just before sunrise in September, the photograph of the llanberis lone tree scored a gold and was also awarded Judges Choice.\u00a0This \u00a0photograph has now scored gold with both The Societies and The Guild of Photographers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sunset at at Hodsock Priory for Mitch and Petrina’s wedding. This wedding photograph has scored gold with both The Societies and The Guild of Photographers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A stag under a double rainbow in Glencoe last winter. a case of right place and right time for this photograph.<\/p>\n
