Our typical wedding day photography coverage at Carlton Towers typically starts with Bridal preparations in one of two bedrooms, the Old School Room or Baroness Tower. Both of these are perfectly suited to bridal preparations and of course photographs.

Groom preparation photographs come as standard with our Exclusive wedding albums and where possible we’ll try and include it with other album packages too. ( View album packages here) . There are various locations and backdrops around Carlton towers tat work really well to create a series of wedding photographs of the groom and his groomsmen before the wedding ceremony.

The Wedding ceremony in the Venetian Room. I love photographing wedding ceremonies in this room, so much detail, nice light and allows me to create wedding photographs really in keeping with my style. Two photographers allow us to capture details from the front and back of the wedding ceremony as well as the all important first look. (These are all photographs from just two wedding ceremonies, the stunning floral arrangements, pedestals and trees supplied by Cheryl at Fulford Flowers)

Indoors we have so many locations to choose from we are really spoilt for choice and of course we have a great plan for poor weather, so much so that Carlton Towers is one of the few wedding venues where the weather is almost irrelevant to creating an album full of stunning wedding photographs.

Exterior locations around the grounds, one of my favourite locations is the stairs and big imposing door at the entrance, the detail and textures really suit my editing style, these will often become double page spreads in wedding photograph albums. Often we have access to the private garden and at certain times of the year it’s a superb opportunity to create a number of wedding photographs with a  different perspective of the Towers.

Sunsets are one my favourite times of the wedding day, a short opportunity to create a series of images that are guaranteed album fillers.

After dark and twilight wedding photographs at Carlton Towers, always a stunning way to end the wedding photography coverage is a twilight photo shoot. With or without fireworks the building makes a great backdrop
