- The Armoury, tucked away to the side, the armoury is an often overlooked location for wedding photographs but is one of my favourite indoor locations and when time allows a must use spot for photos
- The Driveway – a long sweeping drive with Carlton Towers appearing in the distance looks amazing as you droive up and works equally well in photographs, but don’t worry we don’t need to venture far outside the main courtyard to create stunning wedding photographs with the imposing building as our backdrop.
- The Entrance Steps – As you first walk thriough the doors you are amazed by the interior and photographers often overlook the entrance steps, for me they offer a superb location for couples portraits and individual photographs too, a soft light and again stunning architecture make this a must use location.
- The Venetian Drawing Room – once the wedding ceremony is over, the Venetian is an ideal location for indoor wedding photographs, whether the crouple of wet weather family groups
- The Private Garden – access to Lord and Ladies garden is subject to permission on the day and not always guaranteed, although mid July when the Lavender is in full bloom works perfectly for couples photographs in the private garden, the garden and a slightly different view of Carlton Towers work all year round.
- The Staircase and Gallery – vibrant colours, period features and stained glass windows, whats not to love about the main staircase. Through my many years of experience photographing weddings at Carlton Towers, I know the best spots, lighting techniques and importantly the best time of day for your photographs on the staircase.
- The swing, tree and wild flowers – the list i sin no order thankfully as this is one of those must use weather permitting locations. Perfect for some time away from your wedding guests for couples photographs or even with bridal party the large tree and swing work perfectly for wedding photographs
- The Vineyard – Carlton Towers has its own vineyard and it makes the perfect spot for soe late summer couples portraits amongst the long rows of vines, even better if you’ve been serving Carlton Towers own Wine or fizz during your meal.
