Award Winning Photographer | Guild of Photographer Results

The Guild of Photographers Image of the Month competition results were announced earlier this week. Typically there are several thousand entries each month. Of these this month there were just ten images that were awarded Gold, of these ten, four were mine! I also managed to score two Silvers and three bronzes.

Hodsock-Priory-Wedding-PhotographsGold winning image. Hodoscok Priory wedding photograph from Mitch and Petrina’s wedding earlier this year. This was the only Gold scoring wedding photograph this month.


Glen Coe waterfalls, the Buachaille Etive Mor falls. A long exposure photograph to blur the waterfalls as the light catches the mountain behind. This landscape photograph scored a Gold.


Looking down to Buttermere this autumnal photograph from the Lake District was scored as a bronze.


Claire and Steven’s wedding at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire. An amazing sunset on their wedding day. this wedding photograph was scored Silver.


Frances and Jacob’s wedding at Allerton Caste. A Silver award winning wedding photograph of the bride and groom on the gallery.


Waterfalls in Snowdonia North Wales scored a Gold in the awards.


A lone tree at sunrise. Taken in September in Snowdonia North Wales, this landscape photograph scored a Gold and was also chosen as one of the judges choice images for the month.
