Triple Gold Awards from the Societies of Photographers | Award Winning Photographer
After scoring three gold awards in September I was thrilled this week to receive three new Gold Awards from the Societies of Photographers. Over 900 images were entered into the competition, only 29 scored high enough to be awarded a Gold so really pleased that three of these were mine
Winning a Gold in the In Camera Artistry section was this photograph of Tower Bridge and light trails. In camera artistry is about unedited images, photographs that haven’t been photoshopped. This photo was taken with a thirty second exposure to blur the passing bus on a cold evening in march this year.
My Third Landscape Gold award of 2019 with this photograph of Kilchurn Castle in Scotland. taken in October as the early morning sun illuminated the castle and a passing shower to create the dark atmospheric photo with a rainbow.
In the Travel section this photograph of the Eiffel Tower at night won a Gold. taken in May this year from the high above the Paris skyline just after sunset.
