Our typical wedding day photography coverage at Allerton Castle starts with Bridal preparations in the Palace Suite, the ornate bedroom and imposing gold bead really compliment the preparation photographs.

The groom and groomsmen pre-wedding ceremony photographs normally start in the Billiard Room and of course the full size billiards table is always a feature the guys are keen to include in the photographs. The long shot down the table is an often copied and must have wedding photograph is usually makes a double page spread in the finished wedding photograph album.

The wedding ceremony in the Great Hall, two photographers allow us to capture the brides entrance from the front and also top of the stairs looking down the staircase as the bride enters allows a view of the groom and all the guests looking back and allows us to photograph that once in a lifetime moment.

The Drawing room is usually used for signing the wedding register and later in the day we try and pop back in for photographs of the bride and groom or occasionally with the bridal party.

The memorial garden and surrounding grounds of Allerton Castle make the perfect backdrop to wedding photographs, regardless of weather. In good weather the rear lawns and Memorial garden are the perfect locations for the drinks reception and for any of the more formal group photographs. In the event of inclement weather, I always have brollies on hand for the wedding photographs allowing us to still venture outdoors to ensure we can include the amazing wedding venue in your photographs.

Sunset is a superb opportunity and Allerton Castle often produces amazing sunsets allowing me to create stunning wedding photographs. Big skies and unobstructed views to the North West allow us to make the most of any sunset as this small selection of wedding photographs show.
