- The Castle steps – The grand stone exterior and large staircase provides a dramatic, storybook backdrop for big groups and more intimate couple portraits
- The Courtyard – archways, ponds and the castle walls make for romantic, intimate images with plenty of character, this is a favourite location for twilight and after dark wedding photographs too
- The Flemish Hall – this is my must have goto location, even in the height of summer no wedding photograph gallery is complete without photographs inside the Flemish Hall, this is pure castle territory and the drak tones and black and white floor really suit my photography style
- The Pagoda – perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies but also a great backdrop for couples and sometimes group photographs. especially late April / early May when the Cherry Blossom trees provide a riot of pink colour
- Woodland – surrounded by oodles of woodland and even a hidden woodland wedding venue, there are some amazing distinctive trees and locations a short walk from both the woodland venue and castle
- Outside the Restaurant – quintessentially castle, this area of the grounds framed by the large trees and pathways creates a stunning and simple castle backdrop
- The Victoria Room, its dark, its golden, it photographs so well. whether its preparation photos or couple shots, the Vic is one of my favourite rooms in the whole castle.
- The Old Castle entrance path – this is a location most photographers don’t know about or don’t even notice, I’ve been photographing weddings at Hazlewood Castle for almost twenty years and have found some stunning locations and areas that really lend themselves to wedding photography. the old entrance path was the way in to the castle before the A1 and the A64 were even built and is perfect for low light golden hour or late afternoon couples portraits
